Embarrassing Outfits

The theme in The Gallery this week is Embarrassing Outfits. When I saw the prompt my first thoughts were about one of my first outfits.

My parents frequently tell me that, as a baby, I was always mistaken for a boy. I think this is the reason why.

I think I was about 5 or 6 months old in this picture. Whenever I look at it it always reminds me of a cross between a winter elf and a Christmas pudding. I was a chubby baby and that outfit is not the most flattering on a baby girl. I’m sure that expression on my face is trying to say “Awww Muummmmmm!!”

It was just the start of embarrassing outfits over the years but I think this was the starting point.

Awww I think you look super cute but yes probably not the best colour for a baby girl if you want people to know you have a baby girl.
