Back before Little Z came along, my “Happy” would be long lie ins, shopping trips, rolling, eating out and nattering with the OH and my friends and family. Rolling home at 2am was not an abnormal thing. After all, we could just sleep till mid afternoon the next day, watch back to back movies and be completely carefree in a zombie like state.

Happy would look something like the following, taken on our honeymoon. We’d had a VERY hectic few weeks as we’d finally got our act together and got married and moved into our house all within 5 weeks. To say it was stressful was probably an understatement so this was the perfect place straight after it.

Happy these days, post toddler, looks somewhat different. It is now all about play dates, family friendly days out, watching The Muppets Movie for the 263rd time, and we are finally at the stage where we are brave enough to venture abroad with the toddler.

And Happy, abroad, now looks like this….

Not too hot

Lovely photos and I totally agree with your ‘before’ and ‘afters’. I think we’d appreciate the befores all the more now if we’d fully realised what we were letting ourselves in for! 😉 x
