Z doesn’t watch it too much anymore but he still loves the characters a lot and has an Iggle Piggle!

  1. OneDad3Girls May 18, 2013 / 10:05 pm

The girls have always loved doing puzzles

    • Notmyyearoff May 24, 2013 / 4:47 pm

Z;s really into it now. We have a few and he insists we do them together all the time.

  2. Foz May 18, 2013 / 10:31 pm

I love jigsaws. Used to watch In the Night Garden loads with munchkin…. As Bee gets older I guess I will be watching it again!

    • Notmyyearoff May 24, 2013 / 4:48 pm

We used to watch it without fail when he was younger – he prefers Jacks old boat now but loves Iggle and Upsy Daisy still!

  3. Rollercoaster Mum May 18, 2013 / 11:24 pm

Ah In the Night Garden – youngest used to love Makka Pakka – but I have to say I’m quite glad to have moved on!

    • Notmyyearoff May 24, 2013 / 4:48 pm

Haha – it is a verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry weird programme isn’t it?

  4. TheBoyandMe May 18, 2013 / 11:28 pm

What an excellent jigsaw, he’s doing very well with it, well done. No dSLR this week though?

Thanks for linking up to Project 365.

    • Notmyyearoff May 24, 2013 / 4:49 pm

Nope – I snapped it quickly on my phone. I have taken lots for this week though 🙂

  5. Jenny paulin May 18, 2013 / 11:39 pm

Well done Z on completing the puzzle! Well almost I am sure he did finish it., to think I used to have to watch that programme maybe twice a day every day for about a year!., x

    • Notmyyearoff May 24, 2013 / 4:49 pm

He made me finish the rest and he just patted them down properly in the end!

    • Notmyyearoff May 24, 2013 / 4:49 pm

Haha thanks – he has mix and match pjs on there!

  6. Erica Price May 19, 2013 / 6:39 am

H has always been a big jigsaw fan. Looks like Z is pretty good at them.

    • Notmyyearoff May 24, 2013 / 4:50 pm

He had some help from his mummy – but loved it when it was all done and no-one was allowed to touch it!

    • Notmyyearoff May 24, 2013 / 4:50 pm

He had some help from his mummy but loved it when it was all done and no-one was allowed to touch it!

    • Notmyyearoff May 24, 2013 / 4:51 pm

He did most of it well but I had to help him. I think we have done it about 25 times to date!

  7. Dawn Hart May 19, 2013 / 6:59 am

Awwww I love jigsaws, such a cute picture and angle..

    • Notmyyearoff May 24, 2013 / 4:51 pm

Me too – although I don’t love finding the missing pieces in the evenings!

  8. Luci - mother.wife.me May 19, 2013 / 7:29 am

What I love with this is the discarded sunglasses – like there had been a moment of realisation that it would be better to do the jigsaw without them on.

    • Notmyyearoff May 24, 2013 / 4:52 pm

Oh yes – those are his ultra cool 3D specs that one of us brought home from the cinema!

  9. Chelseamamma May 19, 2013 / 7:30 am

Mine love a good jigsaw puzzle – looks like they are doing very well. Now just one question – are they Haa hoo’s or Haa Boo’s – never sure?!?!

    • Notmyyearoff May 24, 2013 / 4:52 pm

They are Haa Hoos – they always look a bit high don’t they?

  10. Xandi | The Mummy Scripts May 19, 2013 / 7:45 am

Thats a great Night Garden puzzle – my twins would love it! Well done Z, looks like he’s a pretty good puzzle maker!

    • Notmyyearoff May 24, 2013 / 4:53 pm

  11. Only Best For Baby May 19, 2013 / 7:52 am

    • Notmyyearoff May 24, 2013 / 4:53 pm

puzzles are so so much fun 🙂

    • Notmyyearoff May 24, 2013 / 4:55 pm

We have so many, I think I’m going to need to buy a box just for all the bazillion pieces we have!

  15. Carolin May 19, 2013 / 8:40 am

Amy would love this puzzle. She’s a massive Pakka fan, yes that’s her name for Makka Pakka. Rude girl calling it by its second name 😉

  16. Charly Dove May 19, 2013 / 8:55 am

Grea jigsaw skills! Our toddler loves jigsaws too – and In the Night Garden!

    • Notmyyearoff May 24, 2013 / 4:56 pm

Us too at the moment. Although I wish he wouldn’t keep losing bits of it!

  17. Joanne Blunt May 19, 2013 / 9:50 am

Cool jigsaw. My boys are just a bit obsessed to doing them.

    • Notmyyearoff May 24, 2013 / 4:57 pm

We are the same at the moment. He loves hammering in the pieces mainly 🙂

  18. Fran May 19, 2013 / 9:59 am

Love the discarded sunglasses and check pants. The life surrounding the puzzle frames the short beautifully.

    • Notmyyearoff May 24, 2013 / 4:57 pm

Those are his Pjs 😀 Not sure why had shades at that time of the morning though!

  19. Charlotte May 19, 2013 / 10:20 am

Fantastic photo and well done Z! x

    • Notmyyearoff May 24, 2013 / 4:58 pm

Definitely – he likes them at the moment and weather is pants!

  20. Faded Seaside Mama May 19, 2013 / 10:35 am

Great photo! The puzzle looks fab – all the colours seem really vibrant. I love the ITNG – such a random programme!

    • Notmyyearoff May 24, 2013 / 5:05 pm

Its definitely very quirky isn’t it? I remember when I first started watching it with Z and I found it so weird!

  21. deborabora May 19, 2013 / 10:37 am

Looks like she is doing well there

  22. Louise May 19, 2013 / 11:16 am

Great photo looks like a lot of pieces to put together x

  23. An Exeter Mum May 19, 2013 / 11:45 am

ITNG firm favourite in our house too! Puzzle looks great 🙂

  24. Kim Carberry May 19, 2013 / 1:49 pm

Aww! The night garden….Both my girls used to love it 🙂

    • Notmyyearoff May 24, 2013 / 5:10 pm

It used to be a daily fix in our house at one time but he only likes the jigsaw now!

  25. Suzanne May 19, 2013 / 2:21 pm

Someone’s working hard! So cute 🙂

  26. A Patchwork Life May 19, 2013 / 2:26 pm

Looks like he’s really got the hang of that one! Favourite puzzle maybe? 🙂

  27. Nikki Thomas May 19, 2013 / 6:31 pm

That is a lovely picture, I love doing puzzles but A isn’t keen at all and the boys have grown out of them. Maybe I should come round to your house?

    • Notmyyearoff May 24, 2013 / 5:07 pm

Yep yep definitely come around – We seem to do them about 4 or 5 times a day !

  28. Elaine Livingstone May 19, 2013 / 7:19 pm

jigsaw puzzles are brilliant toys from many different angles, I always lived them, my daughter did and my grand children do as well

    • Notmyyearoff May 24, 2013 / 5:14 pm

I never realised he would like them so much so never bought any. We got given these as presents when he turned 2 and he loves them!

  29. Peggy May 19, 2013 / 9:23 pm

The boys no longer watch it and I am quite grateful for it but i have to say that at times if I hear the song I get very nostalgic of sleepy cuddles with freshly bathed toddlers ready for bed 🙂

    • Notmyyearoff May 24, 2013 / 5:08 pm

I love the music and little tinkly tune. But I don’t miss the whole half hour 😀

  30. older mum in a muddle May 19, 2013 / 10:44 pm

Now I like that a lot – great shot. I can really tell you are getting into your photos! X.

  31. Sara (@mumturnedmom) May 19, 2013 / 11:43 pm

Great shot, love the abandoned sunglasses. My boys were huge fans of the night garden 🙂

    • Notmyyearoff May 24, 2013 / 5:14 pm

It really does – he will have us all sat down helping him whenever he gets the chance!

  32. Mediocre Mum May 23, 2013 / 8:51 pm

I’m so glad we’re passed the ‘In the night Garden Stage’.

    • Notmyyearoff May 24, 2013 / 5:10 pm

We are allllllmost past it (soon I hope!)
