Worlds Apart Thomas the Tank Engine Pop Up Tent – Review & Giveaway

Worlds Apart recently sent us a Thomas the tank engine pop up play tent to review. He took one look at it and declared it was “My House”. Thankfully, with a very impatient little boy bouncing within an inch of the box, it required no assembly whatsoever other that slipping a plastic rod into the roof bit. And we were ready to go!

The pop up tent is perfect for a toddler child. It is durable, very very light and safe even if knocked over. With the bright colours and characters painted all around the tent it provides a lot of imaginative fun for toddlers and its been an instant hit in our house.

Little Z and my niece both tumbled around in it, rode it around my mums living room pretending it was a train and requested tickets from each of us, then rode around again and made us watch. Even with both pulling and pushing it for a fair bit it bounced straight back into shape and stands firmly and neatly without ever looking tatty or like its about to collapse. In toddler play world this is brilliant!

Its been played with regularly day in, day out and its easily portable and can be packed back into its box with ease. It does take up a bit of space when fully up but can be put away very easily and doesn’t need any kind of assembling so is perfect for someone that like me that is not very good at putting things together. Actually, the rod comes in two halves and has to be slotted into each other but this is relatively straightforward even for a DIY-phobic like me.

I think it is a perfect play tent for any little toddler that has reached the imaginative play stage or who likes Thomas the Tank engine. Its big enough for a couple of toddlers to sit and play in it, or as in our case, drag it around the house.

  1. We went to see Thomas the Tank Engine in Llangollen last week. Paid a fortune for the tickets only for CK to shout ‘I’m bored’ after approximately 2 minutes and 20 seconds. I need to win this to make me feel less pained by it. Thomas is not in my good books at the moment.

  2. I just can’t believe my eyes,
I would SO love to win this great prize!
My kids love me making them tents,
but they’re getting more hard to invent!
I use cushions and blankets and sheets
but the whole thing just doesn’t seem complete,
and as my kids all love their Thomas & trains,
this prize would be amazing to gain!
So thank you so much for the chance,
and If we win, we’ll all do a dance!

  3. It’s my daughters 3rd birthday soon. She loves Thomas and this would be perfect for her to wake up to. Love love love!

  4. What a wonderful toy. My 2 year old nephew would just love it. He is a Thomas the Tank Engine fan. He knows all the engines names, it has been a great tool for his speech. He would likely use the Thomas the Tank Engine tent as a station for passengers for his Thomas the Tank Engine trains. He usually uses his jelly babies as passengers going on holiday. His imagination is being shared and enjoyed by his family. Especially as he is more verbal, and his speech is becoming clearer.

  5. My little man would LOVE this… he’s a bit obsessed with thomas since we visited thomas land a few weeks ago

  9. My little boy said to me the other day that he wished his name was Thomas too – it’s not, it’s William but how was I meant to know I’d have a son who was mad about trains, if I’d know I might have considered calling him Thomas. Children are funny!
