The Gobstopper – Review of Retro Sweets and Giveaway

I recently got asked if I’d like to review some retro sweets from The Gobstopper, an online shop specialising in a vast collection of 80s and 90s retro sweets as well as some old fashioned classics.

I got to pick 3 I’d like in a kilner jar and after much though I went for some Double Dips, sherbet flying saucers and Sherbert fountains, because I am a grown up. They were awesome. I’ve since been eating them stealthily with my head in the kitchen cupboard.

The shop obviously does a lot more than just sherbets (they also do sherbert crystals if you’re interested). Other choices include, and aren’t limited to, white chocolate mice, candy necklaces, bon bons, cola pips, black jacks and more.

The kilner jars come in 3 different sizes and there’s also unique section boxes that would make nice presents.

The site is easily navigable with deprecate sections for medicinal, sugar free, vegetarian and halal sweets.

As always one of the things i look at is if they would make good alternatives to sending flowers. I would definitely recommend them for anyone that has a sweet tooth and has a love of old fashioned sweets.
