Win a £75 iTunes or Google Voucher with HTC One M9

There is a fantastic giveaway on the blog this month, courtesy of Three Mobile to celebrate the launch of the brand new HTC One M9.

HTC One M9

If there’s one thing I love is to take one too many photos with my phone and then to message it to everyone I know. Ever since Little Z came along that’s probably increased about three fold. The HTC One M9 has an impressive 20 megapixel camera, a 26.8mm lens and a standby battery life of 402 hours it gives a trigger happy phone lover the perfect little gadget to take along to all trips.

Three Mobile are offering one very lucky winner a £75 Google or an iTunes voucher depending on your phone. All you have to do to enter the giveaway is to answer one question by leaving a comment below:

“What’s the best photo editing app and why”

For a bonus entry you can tweet about the comp with whatever you would like. Please remember to also include the following:

#CompWithHTC @notmyyearoff…ith-htc-one-m9/

  1. Snapseed because it has tools for improving color and exposure to whole or parts oy your images!

  2. Photoshop, as it’s incredibly powerful, and easy to use (Providing you are willing to do a little reading).

  3. I like photo editor, it’s easy to use and has lots of preset effects saved in the app already, as well as the usual crop and manual adjustments if needed

  4. Adobe Photoshop CS – I use this on a regular basis and although it can be difficult to learn once you have the basics there`s really no going back. Simple imaging apps just dont cut the mustard when it comes to resizing with quality, cutting selections or true colour tones. That being said, if you have to limit yourself to app based only, then im with others for snapseed for the basic user who doesnt need all the bangs and whistles of editing software.

  5. Snapseed because there is no real Photoshop app for mobile devices, not one that is comparable to the PC/Mac version of Photoshop, anyway.

  6. Aviary is my fav app as it has lots of editing tools and is very easy to use! #CompWithHTC

  7. Definitely Lightroom for me. Adore how much control it gives over your photos, and the mobile version ain’t bad either!

  8. I like Moldiv as you have a lot of text style formatting and can put multi Pictures in a array of positions

  9. Adobe Photoshop is the best photo editing app. The effects that can be done with this application are very good and leave a professional result. Top app.

  10. I like Corel Paintshop Pro. I find it has the features I’d use in Photoshop but it’s not nearly so complicated to use!

  11. 99% of the time, I use Fotor. A great range of awesome filters and they are still adding more. And lots of options for editing like adding text and all that jazz.

  12. Snapseed is brilliant i love how it can edit photos with lovely colours, It can make my photos professional looking
I am tweeting too @lindseystuart85 thankyou

  13. The photo editing apps i use are;

PhotoWonder – they have awesome stickers even the Fast Furious Paul Walker stickers! & plenty to perfect your selfies 🙂

Perfect 365 & YouCam Makeup – try out makeup styles. Very effective.

I strive for simple & awesome apps so there you go 😛

  14. Snapseed because it has a good balance of fun and serious tools thus allowing you to experiment with photos.

  15. I have tried a few but I always end up just using the camera on iPhone as it is so simple to use and does everything I need it to do!

  16. I tweeted also 🙂
I’ve also downloaded ‘snapseed’ as so many people seem to have used this, need to give it a go !

  17. Lightroom. Not suitable for adding or removing items for photos but great for adjusting exposure, saturation, contrast etc. Very flexible and also great for managing a library of photos.

I took some photos in a cave at ISO6400 and they appeared to be black. A few clicks in Lightroom and I have photos of the cave with all the wonderful colurs etc. A bit grainy but that is the be expected when very underexposed at ISO6400.

Photoshop is much more expensive and overkill if most of your photos just need adjusting to correct exposure etc as opposed to faking what the camera saw.

Lightroom for mobile is also quite good.

  18. Adobe Photoshop Express as its free to download, It has tools for cropping, red-eye removal and adding borders, also a healing tool to remove blemeshes from pictures which is always handy x

  19. I love Snapseed because it provides a user-friendly set of tools to tune an image, which lets users toggle brightness, contrast, saturation, shadow and warmth.

  20. I’ve honestly never edited any of my photos… think I need to try this Snapseed out everyone is talking about!

  21. Snapseed because it makes magic happen ( makes me look like a princess rather then a dragon ) hahahahahahahahahaha

  22. Snapseed; its free and so powerful in what it can do, it does so much to help create a prefect image after its been taken, amazing 🙂

  23. I’ve not used any but if I win this phone I think I will be trying snapseed as most comments recommend this app

  24. Instagram cos it’s the only app I’ve used but I think I’ll have to check out the others now!

  25. My favourite is Pixlr. I love the desktop versions and the app is fab too. Easy to use, lots of filters/effects and I’m almost always happy with the results!

  26. I don’t know about apps but my favourite photo editing software is Photoshop because you can do pretty much anything and then online it’s fotor to create collages.

  27. I have to say photo bucket because I have only ever tried this and paint shop pro. With photobucket you can resize images and there are a lot of ways in which you could change the image. Photobucket is a fun programme because there are so many effects you can use. You can make the image lighter or darker and you can always learn something when using the programme. When I started using it, it was a lot of trial and error but I got some good results when I was trying to be creative.

  28. Pic collage – I like being able to make a collage of my favourite photos and then jazz it up a bit

  29. I’m not familiar with actual apps for photo editing, but think Photoshop is great for editing #CompWithHTC
