Happy new year everyone!!!
It’s been weeks and weeks and weeks since I’ve blogged as mental work and the Christmas period took over our lives and my blog went by the wayside. I almost packed it in completely after weeks of repeating how crazy work was and how we were ready to hibernate (preferably for about six months). Then my domain came up for renewal and I panicked about losing my 8 year old blog completely and frantically spent New Year’s Eve trying to get my expired domain back. So I have it again and I’m going to try to remember to blog again, regularly.
Christmas was both quiet and crazy all at once. It was SO nice to finally switch off from big work things and just eat and spend time with my boys, friends and family. We swung between days of doing nothing to days of catching up with friends. I actually have no idea what we’ve done in the first week of January except I vaguely remember a day I went to work and then lots more quiet days of doing not so much and days of some epic decluttering. Next week is going to be a bit of a shock to the system. Ooh, I do remember we have eaten a LOT of nice food and then I met up with these amazing ladies (Sarah from Mum of three world, and Tracey from Williams World) for a big catch up. Next week definitely needs to be about running and eating something with some fruit or vegetables in it.
Happy new year! It’s good to see you blogging again. Thank you very much for the mention and using our lovely photo. It was so good to see you and Tracey again.

Ahh! Welcome back! I am glad you are still blogging.
It sounds like you had a wonderful Christmas. I am planning on eating better next week, cutting down on the chocolate and junk food.
Yum! All that food looks amazing! x

My boys go back to school on Monday (well one is homeschooled) and then maybe I’ll have a clue what day it is too ha, this time of year always has me wanting to just eat and hibernate. That food all looks amazing!

Oh gosh, that sounds like one very busy way to end the year. I hope things calm down for you now and that you continue with the blog. Happy New Year #365
Have to agree stopping my blog means I lose everything I have ever done on it if I let it lapse, so am determined if I am paying for it then I am using it. Glad you are still with us.
Nice to meet up with fellow bloggers
Happy New Year to you all. Lovely to meet up with Sarah, I’m hoping to do the same in Feb/March. Some lovely yummy food there.
Happy new year! Glad to hear that you got back into blogging. How wonderful to have a big catch up with your friends.
All the food pics look delicious. Hope this year is less stressful for you.
Totally get where you are coming from regards desiring fruit and veg. I think I ate too many mince pies over the festive period. #365
Happy new Year, glad to hear that things have settled down and you have decided to continue blogging, although all of these food pics are not doing anything for my healthier eating plan! How lovely to meet up with some fellow bloggers, it makes a change from just chatting virtually!
Glad to see you’re blogging again. Every time I’ve popped over I looked for a new post and there wasn’t one!
Sounds fairly similar to our first week of the holidays. Nice to be a bit more relaxing although we did no decluttering.
Oh wow the food all looks amazing!
Happy New Year and glad you managed to renew the domain name and keep the blog!
