Aaron Rodgers has been married to his wife, Brittani, for almost a year now, and we still know basically nothing about her. She’s never been photographed; she’s never been pictured at a Steelers game; and as far as we know, she doesn’t even have a last name. It’s almost impressive that we know so little about her given the fact that Rodgers kind of loves talking about her. During his appearance on The Pat McAfee Show on Wednesday, Rodgers not only shared some new intel about Brittani, he also managed to squeeze in some shade toward his famous ex-girlfriends.
Despite his insistence on their privacy, Rodgers divulged some details about their sex life while answering a question about maintaining an NFL-level physique at 42. The quarterback told McAfee that his job isn’t the main reason he’s stayed in shape. “I wanna look good,” Rodgers said. “I want my wife to wanna fuck me all the time!”
Rodgers also revealed that he and Brittani have been doing a lot of relaxing during the offseason, and that they recently went on a ski trip. Okay, so now we also know that she enjoys winter sports. This might be the most forthcoming that Rodgers has ever been about Brittani.
Later in the episode, McAfee asked Rodgers head-on about all of the speculation surrounding his relationship with Brittani. Apparently, part of the reason she’s stayed so private is out of concern for her safety.
“The obsession is fucking bizarre,” Rodgers said, explaining that the couple no longer lives at his beach property (presumably the Malibu mansion he bought with ex Danica Patrick in 2019) due to “legitimate stalkers.” Rodgers said that the paparazzi “has a bounty on getting a picture of my wife.” “I understand the attention that comes with somebody who’s accomplished what I’ve accomplished,” he went on, “but when it comes to your personal safety, and now it’s not just me, it’s her, it’s really fucking bizarre.”
Still, Rodgers went on to share even more info about his wife — namely, that they originally met in 2017 and he knew at the time there was “something crazy special” about their connection (even though he’s had two different relationships since then). “And she would make funny comments like, ‘I would never live in Green Bay,’ and ‘I don’t want to be a player’s wife.’ She’s just not a public person.” Rodgers said that Brittani “moved across the pond” at some point, and he proceeded to get himself into “crazy town.”
“I was with individuals who called the paparazzi, who leaked or talked about where I was living, who coerced me to make the proverbial Instagram, social-media posts,” he said. “I never really wanted to live a public life.” It doesn’t take a genius to figure out who Rodgers might be implicating here — the only women he dated seriously between meeting Brittani and rekindling their connection were Danica Patrick and Shailene Woodley.
Then, because he wasn’t done talking about his very private wife, Rodgers threw in a dig at NFL WAG culture. “[Brittani] didn’t sign up for this bullshit,” he said. “She signed up because she loves me and she supports me and she wants to spend the rest of our lives together and start a family together. She didn’t sign up to be out front, you know, social-media WAG. She doesn’t want any of that bullshit, you know, and I don’t either.”
That’s our quarterly Brittani Report. Rodgers will probably be back on McAfee’s show just before the NFL season starts up again to throw us a few more details about his wife. If he’s taking requests, I would love to know how old she is and if she also has some questionable opinions about vaccines.
