On Sunday, Hollywood’s film and television stars gathered at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles for the 2026 Actor Awards (formerly known as the SAG Awards). It’s the second-to-last major red carpet of the season, so you’d better believe we’re going to talk about it!

Below, our list of the best, worst, and weirdest Actor Awards red-carpet looks from all your faves, including Demi Moore, Emma Stone, Teyana Taylor, and Timothée Chalamet. Who knocked it out of the park, whose looks confused us, and who needs to find a new stylist before the Oscars later this month? Scroll on to find out.

At this point, it’s safe to say we are witnessing a generational red-carpet run from Teyana Taylor. The countdown to her Oscars moment starts now!

Emma Stone in custom Louis Vuitton

From the colors to the textures to the laid-back ’90s vibe, this is one of the best Louis Vuitton looks of the night. Crushed velvet has never looked so chic.

Chase Infiniti in custom Louis Vuitton and De Beers jewelry

Chase Infiniti is allergic to not serving, apparently. The flared hems add a bit of whimsy to this otherwise classically glamorous dress, but the headpiece is what really takes this look to the next level. It’s memorable but not over-the-top. Tens across the board!

Leslie Bibb in Ashi Studio Couture

Ashi Studio has been all over best-dressed lists this awards season, and Leslie Bibb’s fully embroidered, structured column dress that features a lace-up back corset is another knock-out from the Paris fashion house.

Kristen Wiig in Christian Cowan and Tiffany & Co. jewelry

Effortless yet incredibly sexy, this is the best black dress of the night.

Sarah Pidgeon in Balenciaga and Rahaminov Diamonds jewelry

I was thrilled to see this Balenciaga look on a major red carpet. It’s a tricky silhouette to pull off, but the “It” girl of the moment is the perfect person to attempt it. Her soft glam, undone hair, and subtle diamond studs complement the blush-pink dress beautifully. Another strong case for the no-necklace red-carpet trend.

Petition to have more double-breasted suits on the red carpet, please!

It’s a little casual, but I don’t even care, because the shaggy multicolored fringe brought so much joy to the red carpet.

Michelle Monaghan in Prada

After years and years of analyzing red-carpet looks, I’ve noticed that celebrities who want to look stylish without taking too big of a swing always opt for an outfit formula that can only be compared to a mullet: business in the front, party in the back (or in this case, business on top, party on bottom). It rarely works out for them, but this Prada dress is an exception. It’s sleek and elegant but still playful and experimental.

See? I told you. I’m on the fence about this look as a whole — and I think it’s less successful than Monaghan’s — but the individual elements of the dress are absolutely gorgeous and it definitely got my attention.

An absolute vision in the world’s most beautiful shade of red.

Timothée Chalamet in Prada

Wait, do we think Timothée’s been reading the TikTok comments about how boring his red-carpet looks have been this season? Because this is the best one yet. I don’t think he’ll ever top the Louis Vuitton harness moment, but here’s hoping he comes close at the Oscars.

Jenna Ortega in Christian Cowan and Jimmy Choo shoes

I’ll never get tired of her commitment to the gothic bit … sorry! Although I do wish she wore a classic black pump instead of a shoe with an ankle strap.

Connor Storrie

The helmet hair is upsetting, but that’s my only complaint. The suit is hot; the necklace is hot; he is hot.

Kate Hudson in custom Valentino

Even though the cape makes this ensemble a little basic and predictable, she looks amazing.

The Worst Actor Awards Red-Carpet Looks

Kristen Bell in Georges Hobeika Couture and Messika jewelry

This would be great without the pleated train; it’s out of place and makes the look feel incohesive.

Kathryn Hahn in Viktor & Rolf Couture and Tiffany & Co. jewelry.

I’m extremely confused by the little pink tulle belt and even more confused by the gap in fabric. It looks like a curtain in the worst way.

Michelle Randolph in Balenciaga

The fluid shape of this Balenciaga dress is polarizing. I get that it’s supposed to be soft and romantic-looking, but I wish the waistline were more defined.

Erin Doherty in custom Louis Vuitton

On the contrary, here we have an example of too much definition. We know she loves a geometric dress, but this one is all wrong. I mean, the edges of the bodice look like a safety hazard.

A ruched dress like this one needs gloves that fit close to the body. There’s too much bunched-up fabric happening here, which makes it look sloppy.

Of course, weird is complimentary in this case.

Fran Drescher

Fran, girl, I love you, but this is kooky as hell.

Claire Danes

Weird that no one steamed this?

Timothy Simons

I’m convinced Timothy Simons was just playing himself in Nobody Wants This. He’s become a mainstay on the weirdest-dressed list.
