98th Oscars - Show

After months of grueling red carpets, glambot drama, and updates about Rose Byrne’s bearded dragon, the 2026 Oscars — and the awards season — are officially over. The Bridesmaids cast reunited, Sinners’ cinematographer made history as the first woman to win in her category, Leonardo DiCaprio got to wave around a light orb during Golden, and Kate Hudson had amazing chemistry with Grogu. It was a good night to be Maya Rudolph’s plus-one. It was an even better night if you made a bet that Sean Penn would both win and not show up. As for Marty Supreme? Well, Kylie Jenner is about to win most supportive girlfriend. Just here for the fashion? Check out our red carpet favorites and every single look from the evening here, and below, find all our favorite moments from the big night.

One Battle After Another Won Best Picture

Photo: Robert Gauthier / Los Angeles Times/Los Angeles Times via Getty Imag

After taking home several of the biggest awards of the night, including Best Director for Paul Thomas Anderson and Best Supporting Actor for Sean Penn (in absentia), One Battle After Another won best picture at the 2026 Oscars, beating out Sinners, Hamnet, and Marty Supreme, among others. Running up to the stage to accept the award, Teyana Taylor playfully put Anderson into a celebratory headlock. In his speech, Anderson compared this year’s list of best picture nominees to 1975 — which included One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Dog Day Afternoon, and Jaws — saying, “there is no best among them. There is just what mood there might be that day.” He also added that when he accepted his best director win, he forgot to thank his cast. “Leo, Benicio, Teyana, Sean, Regina, and especially Chase,” he said. “My American girl, Chase, you are the heart of this movie.”

Congrats to Jessie Buckley

Here’s to the freaking Bride! A breathless Jessie Buckley accepted the Best Actress award for her role as Agnes, Shakespeare’s grieving wife, in Hamnet. In her speech, Buckley pointed out that today is Mother’s Day in the U.K. and dedicated her award to “the beautiful chaos of a mother’s heart.” Cue a beaming Paul Mescal and Gracie Abrams and a dancing Chloé Zhao.

Michael B. Jordan Shouted Out His Mom After His Oscars Win

Photo: Patrick T. Fallon / AFP/AFP via Getty Images

The first thing Michael B. Jordan said when he accepted his Oscar for Best Actor for his performance in Sinners was, “God is good.” The second thing: “Mama, what’s up!” he said from the stage. “My mother’s here.” Jordan went on to add that his father was also in the room, having come in from Ghana to be there. After his family, Jordan thanked Warner Bros for, “betting on the culture and betting on original ideas,” Ryan Coogler for helping him be seen, and the “incredible cast.” Finally, Jordan thanked the actors whose footsteps he’s following. “I stand here because of the people that came before me,” Jordan said, naming, Sidney Poitier, Denzel Washington, Halle Berry, and others, including “my ancestors.”

Renate Reinsve Laughed Off Her Wardrobe Malfunction

Sometimes, all you can do is laugh and keep it moving. Renate Reinsve did exactly that on stage when, alongside the rest of the Sentimental Value cast to accept the award for Best International Film, someone stepped on the back of her dress, almost causing a NSFW moment on live TV. But Reinsve was good-humored about the incident, simply holding the gown closed in the back until she could return to her seat.

You Know Together We’re Glowin’

Everyone in the crowd got a glow stick for the “Golden” performance, which were sort of unwieldy lightbulbs on sticks. Some people really seemed to love getting a prop (Teyana Taylor, Emma Stone, Chloé Zhao), while others looked like they had no idea what to do with it (Michael B. Jordan, Leonardo DiCaprio). The fellas should’ve taken a note from Steven Spielberg, who was waving his around like it was the most natural thing in the world.

Thank You, Javier Bardem

Javier Bardem, sexiest man alive and realest guy in the house tonight, kicked off his presentation of Best International Feature Film with an unequivocal “no war and free Palestine.” I know that’s right! A win for It Was Just an Accident or The Voice of Hind Rajab would have sealed the deal, but alas, Sentimental Value took home the award.

Autumn Arkapaw Is the First Woman to Win Best Cinematographer

Photo: Kevin Winter/Getty Images

Congratulations to Autumn Durald Arkapaw, who became the first woman to win the Oscar for Best Cinematography for Sinners. In her acceptance speech, she acknowledged Sinners’ writer and director, Ryan Coogler. “Whenever I say thank you to Ryan, he says, ‘No, thank you for believing in me and for trusting me,’” Arkapaw began her speech. “And that’s the kind of guy I get to make films with.” Then she went on to thank all of the other women in the room. “I really want all the women in the room to stand up,” she said. “‘Cause I feel like I don’t get here without you guys.”

Bill and Lewis Pullman Tried Out a Little Nepo Humor

Photo: Kevin Winter/Getty Images

We got a father-son moment from Bill and Lewis Pullman, who were presenting the award for Best Editing. Their scripted banter was about how the editor shapes a movie in a way not dissimilar to how someone’s famous father might shape people’s perception of a young actor. It fell flat, but if you weren’t listening you probably just thought, Wow, Lewis really got his dad’s face, or Dang, Bill’s still got it! In other Pullman family news, Bill walked the red carpet with his wife of 39 years, Tamra Hurwitz — their first public appearance since 2019. If only her husband and son had been a little funnier for her big night out.

The Stars of Bridesmaids Reunited On the Oscars Stage

Photo: Kevin Winter/Getty Images

Melissa McCarthy, Rose Byrne, Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, and Ellie Kemper took the 2026 Oscars stage together to present the awards for Best Score and Best Sound Mixing. Ahead of the first award, the women each read a notecard with “notes” from the celebs in the audience. Rudolph read, for instance, “Mine says, ‘First of all, you ladies look extremely beautiful tonight. You’re all aging well.’ Signed, Stellan Skarsgaard.” Wiig’s “note,” getting to the point before anyone else could, read, “You guys have been talking for a long time. This bit could have been a lot shorter,” signed Benicio del Toro. Could’ve been longer, honestly!

Kate Hudson Can Have Chemistry With Anyone (Including Baby Yoda)

Or, sorry, Grogu. Hudson gamely canoodled with the Star Wars puppet to set up Sigourney Weaver’s Aliens reference, and it looked like they were really hitting it off. That’s a testament both to how talented Hudson is and how cute that puppet is — great work from everyone involved. As a fun bonus: They kind of matched (her dress, his skin).

Barbra Streisand Paid Tribute to Robert Redford

Standing behind a podium in sunglasses and a black off-the-shoulder dress, Barbra Streisand capped off the “In Memoriam” segment of the ceremony with a stirring commemoration of Robert Redford, who died at the age of 89 last September. Redford was her The Way We Were co-star, friend, and “intellectual cowboy”; committed to independent art, he also founded the Sundance Film Festival. Streisand then sang “The Way We Were” with a trenchant statement by Redford projected on the screen: “The glory of art is that it can not only survive change, it can lead it.”

Billy Crystal Paid Tribute to Rob Reiner

Crystal gave an extended tribute to Reiner and his wife Michelle. “My friend Rob’s movies will last for lifetimes because they were about what makes us laugh and cry and what we aspire to be — far better in his eyes, far kinder, far funnier, and far more human.” Crystal highlighted the Reiners’ activism, including their work to get marriage equality passed nationwide. “For us, who had the privilege of working with and knowing him and loving him, all we can say is, ‘Buddy, what fun we had storming the castle.’” If you weren’t already crying, several of Reiner’s collaborators — including Meg Ryan, Christopher Guest, Mandy Patinkin, Jerry O’Connell, and Kathy Bates — came out, all holding hands.

Wait, Do I Love Leo’s Mustache?

The camera keeps cutting to Leonardo DiCaprio and every time I find myself thinking, Huh… that mustache is looking pretty good. Is this a new look for the movie he’s making with Martin Scorsese and Jennifer Lawrence? Or is he just playing around with new facial hair shapes? Either way, he’s pulling it off.

Sean Penn Will Get His Oscar Shipped to Him

Penn won his third Oscar for his performance in One Battle After Another, but I guess after two it stops feeling special. Penn didn’t bother to show up to the ceremony, leaving last year’s Best Supporting Actor winner Kieran Culkin to accept the statue in his stead. “Sean Penn couldn’t be here tonight,” Culkin said, “Or… didn’t want to.” My guess is the latter.

And the Winner Is … a Tie??

Well here’s a twist: There are two winners for Best Live Action Short Film: The Singers and Two People Swapping Saliva. This has happened only seven times in Oscars history; the last time was in 2012, when Zero Dark Thirty and Skyfall split Best Sound Editing. Still, it feels unexpected; Presenter Kumail Nanjani had to clarify before announcing that he was not joking.

The Devil Wears Prada 2 Spon Has Arrived at the Oscars

Photo: Kevin Winter/Getty Images

Did you know there was a The Devil Wears Prada sequel premiering this year? In case you didn’t, Anne Hathaway was joined by Anna Wintour to present the Oscars for best costume design and best makeup and hairstyling. “Anna, just curious, what do you think of my dress tonight?” asked Hathaway as part of their little bit. Wintour replied drily, “And the nominees are … ” Later, Hathaway asked if Wintour would like to read the names of the nominees, and Wintour replied, “Thank you, Emily.” Cute.

Misty Copeland Tried Out Her New Hip

And it seems like it’s in fine working order. The ballerina appeared onstage during the Sinners musical performance, which recreated the scene in the movie where Black music from the past and future converge in the juke joint. Copeland, who got hip-replacement surgery in the fall, came out at the end of the performance to show off several perfect turns. To make it even better, she did it all mere feet away from her newest opp, ballet-hater Timothée Chalamet. I bet he liked it!

Oscars Attendees Are Protesting ICE, the Iran War, and More

After anti-ICE activists projected “ICE OUT” slogans on the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures and other L.A. buildings last night, Oscars attendees continued the call. Broadway actress and singer Sara Bareilles, Hamnet costume designer Malgosia Turzanska, and soccer star Abby Wambach all wore ICE OUT pins; Wambach’s partner, Glennon Doyle, is holding a beaded clutch that read “F— ICE.”

Some attendees are also protesting U.S. intervention in Iran and Gaza. Javier Bardem is wearing a Spanish pin that reads “No a la guerra” (“No to war”) tonight while Saja Kilani, the lead in the docudrama The Voice of Hind Rajab, wore an Artist for Ceasefire pin.

Will Anyone Have a Better Night Than Amy Madigan?

Photo: AFP via Getty Images

The winner of the first 30 minutes of the show is undoubtedly Amy Madigan. Conan dressed up as her Weapons character, Aunt Gladys, for the opening sketch and then she won the first award of the night! Madigan, who’s been giving great speeches all awards season, delivered another great one tonight. She joked about shaving her legs even though she was wearing pants, she thanked her dogs, and she gave a lovely shout out to her husband, Ed Harris. “The most important is my beloved Ed, who’s been with me forever and that’s a long-ass time,” Madigan said. “None of it would mean anything if he wasn’t by my side.” Like Weapons director Zach Cregger, I also got teary-eyed.

Is Hailee Steinfeld Going to the Oscars?

Photo: Kevin Mazur/Getty Images/Kevin Mazur/Getty Images

Sinners was nominated for 16 awards at the 2026 Oscars — the most nominations for a film in the ceremony’s history — but Hailee Steinfeld, one of the film’s stars, was nowhere to be seen on the red carpet. If Steinfeld has decided to sit this awards ceremony out, as it seems she has, the reason could be her approaching due date. The actor is pregnant with her first child with husband Josh Allen, first revealing her baby bump on the Golden Globes red carpet in January.

The Bridesmaids Are All Here

The cast of Bridesmaids is in the building for a reunion, one spurred perhaps by the fact that two of them (nominee Rose Byrne and Paul Thomas Anderson’s date Maya Rudolph) were already going to be there. Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Ellie Kemper, and director Paul Feig are all in the building. At least we know that, at some point during what is sure to be an incredibly long ceremony, we’ll all get to have a good laugh.

Jacob Elordi Is Busy Being Hot, As Usual

Photo: Getty Images

Oh my, what do we have here? A gorgeous man in a three-piece suit, that’s what. His mullet is kind of giving Bushwick creative, but I forgive him, because he somehow pulls it all off. I mean, this is the man who got people to thirst over Frankenstein’s monster, so no surprises here.

Gracie Abrams and Paul Mescal’s Tight Pants Do Date Night

Photo: Getty Images
Photo: Getty Images

The couple made their official red carpet debut at the 2026 BAFTAs earlier this year and are back doing their best prom pose on the Oscar’s red carpet. We commend Mescal for stepping out of the standard tuxedo box with this blazer sans lapel and slim fit trousers.

Gracie Abrams Won’t Let Us Forget About Her Abs

Photo: John Shearer/WireImage

Gracie may be a Hollywood nepo-baby, but as a burgeoning pop star, the Oscars are less her turf than something like the Grammys. Which may explain why, instead of taking the occasion too seriously, she’s shown up in what I’d call black-tie Brandy Melville. Girl knows her audience!

Kate Hudson Brought Her Good Luck Charm

Photo: AFP via Getty Images

Of course, that means she walked the carpet with her mom, Goldie Hawn. Both women looked beautiful, blonde, and tanned. You just know that these two were having the time of their loves blasting Neil Diamond’s greatest hits in the car ride over.

Did Timothée Chalamet Steal Jack Harlow’s Look for the Oscars?

Photo: Getty Images

The most hotly-debated man in America has arrived at the Oscars. Yes, I am of course talking about the actor accused of hating ballet, of destroying the opera, of farting on the arts, Timothée Chalamet. Now, he’s gone after fashion. The Oscar-nominee has decided to smooth the moment over by arriving in an outfit that’s literally just going to piss me off: a Jon and Kate Plus 8-y spiky hairstyle, a white, Laguna Beach-esque suit, complete with slacks that are far too long and pooling at his feet, sunglasses and what appear to be white Timberland boots. Did he run this look past Kylie? Whoever dropped him off needs to turn the sprinter van around and pick him back up. Expeditiously!

Chloé Zhao Is My Favorite Drama Queen

Photo: Penske Media via Getty Images

Because of course she showed up shrouded in a black veil. The Hamnet director also wore a shimmery black gown with a ruffled skirt and exaggerated sleeves. Even though she’s technically an Aries, as one of our editors put it, she’s giving scorpiocore — or perhaps she’s still in mourning over her canceled Buffy: the Vampire Slayer reboot. We certainly are.

Nicole Kidman Is a Dream Chanel Girl

Photo: Arturo Holmes/Getty Images

Chanel is having a very strong night. Kidman, who recently signed on as an ambassador for the brand, is in a custom couture situation that looks incredible with her skin tone. It features a mix of delicious textures, including a beaded bust and peplum feathered waist.

The Oscars Stage Design Is Kind of Rainforest Café-Inspired

Photo: Los Angeles Times via Getty Imag

According to Vanity Fair, this year’s stage design is meant to “represent a calming garden courtyard.” The people behind the look went for a literal interpretation, opting to put actual live trees on the stage. It sort of looks like a fancy hotel lobby, but why not have a little fun with it? Let’s all just pray that no one’s dress gets snagged on a piece of bark.

Demi Moore Is Bringing the Drama (i.e., Feathers)

Photo: Kevin Mazur/Getty Images

The Substance actress isn’t nominated this time around, but she’s a presenter so why not make a bold statement? Her statement of choice: feathers. Moore is wearing a Gucci emerald and black gown. Feather have never looked so good or … fly.

I’m Flocking (Sorry) to Teyana Taylor’s Feathery Oscars Red Carpet Look

Photo: Getty Images

Teyana Taylor has touched down on the Oscars red carpet and joined her fellow feathered friends (Nicole Kidman and Demi Moore) in an avian-chic gown by Chanel. Taylor, who’s nominated tonight, keeps proving herself worthy, look after look, of being my personal fashion north star.

Emma Stone Is Silvery in Louis Vuitton

Photo: Mike Coppola/Getty Images

The Bugonia actress went for a simple but stunning silver cap-sleeved dress with an ultra-low back that fits the ‘90s minimal theme she’s been wearing this awards season. I fear I may need to cut my hair into a bob if I keep looking at this picture.

Zoe Saldaña’s Take on Underwear as Outerwear

Photo: Getty Images

It’s not easy to wear your bedroom clothes outside, but Zoe Saldaña nailed the lingerie-inspired look in lace slip dress from Saint Laurent.

I Prefer Heidi Klum as a Worm But This Gown Is Lovely, Too

Photo: Jeff Kravitz/FilmMagic

Heidi Klum is at the Oscars in what I can only assume is early promo for The Devil Wears Prada 2. This isn’t my favorite red carpet look of hers (yes, my favorite is her worm Halloween costume from 2022, truly iconic), but this semi-naked Chrome Hearts gown is pretty.

Barbie Ferreira Ends the Color Blue on the Oscars Red Carpet

Photo: Getty Images

Barbie Ferreira has put an end to any future innovations to the color blue by way of a perfect Oscars dress from Gap Studio. The dress features a snatched corset, a cheeky little bustle skirt and an elongated train, all wrapped up in the most pleasing hue I’ve seen on the carpet today. We’ve reached peak blue and it’s all downhill from here, folks. Thanks a lot, Barbie (and Zac Posen).

Odessa A’zion Styled Herself … In Pants??

Photo: Kevin Mazur/Getty Images/Kevin Mazur/Getty Images

As we come to the end of this awards season, I have to admit I still don’t get Odessa’s whole thing. But (!) I appreciate that she never plays it safe on the red carpet. This time, she’s wearing pants under what looks like a fringe-lined skirt and a long cloak. Sure, why the hell not? And apparently, she styled herself. Move over, Blake Lively! Odessa’s looks is Versace Couture with Pandora necklaces, but no word yet on whether her hair tonight is a wig or natural or maybe a third thing. With Odessa, you never know.

Taylor Frankie Paul Is at the Oscars … ?

Photo: Getty Images

I’m throwing as little shade as humanly possible here — like, the only thing capable of throwing less shade than I am right now is the sun at noon — but why is Taylor Frankie Paul at the Oscars? I hope she has a good time tonight, but I can’t help but feel as though there must be some mysterious agenda, perhaps a secret mission, that she’s been tasked with that’s brought her there. Go off, I guess.

An Oscar for Law Roach’s Wig

Photo: JC Olivera/WWD via Getty Images

We’re obsessed with wigs at The Cut, if you can’t tell. And red carpets are always a moment for new wigs to make a debut — just ask stylist Law Roach. At last year’s Met Gala he wore a short coiffed blonde wig on, a look he debuted in 2023 softly referencing Ken during the Barbie movie era. Big red carpet moments and short hair must be his thing because he went short again for the Oscars tonight. He walked the carpet in a tousled pixie wig, this time not blonde. It was his most unexpected accessory tonight complemented by his baroque jacket, bow tie and Chanel purse.

Misty Copeland is Here, Sans Marty Supreme Gear

Photo: WWD via Getty Images

The principal dancer — who is set to perform “I Lied to You” from Sinners — hit the Oscars red carpet in a custom tutu-inspired David Koma outfit. Copeland has been embroiled in some pre-awards show drama involving another best picture-nominated movie: After Marty Supreme’s Timothée Chalamet infamously said that “no one cares” about ballet and opera, Copeland expressed her disappointment in the young actor. “First, I have to say that it’s very interesting that he invited me to be a part of promoting Marty Supreme with respect to my art form,” she said (the film’s Instagram account had posted a photo of her in the movie’s official bomber jacket). “I think that it’s important that we acknowledge that, yes, this is an art form that is not ‘popular’ and as much a part of pop culture as movies are, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t have enduring relevance in culture.”

Kylie’s Oscars Red Carpet Look Is Inspired By … a Car?

Kylie Jenner hasn’t hit the red carpet yet alongside boyfriend Timothée Chalamet for his Marty Supreme nom, but Jenner has teased her custom red Schiaparelli look with a video and the picture of the car that inspired that the bright red shade. Which is more fitting for the Oscar’s than ping pong orange. We wonder if Timothée will be in a matching suit.

Jessie Buckley’s Oscars Look Is Perfect To Me

Photo: Mike Coppola/Getty Images

If you find yourself arguing with others about Jessie Buckley’s red carpet look like I am right now, just know: I stand with you. The pink and red combo in this beautiful satin fabric makes the Oscar-nominated actress look like the most delicious Starburst in the pouch. I only wish the waistline wasn’t visible at such an awkward distance from the shawl, but alas.

Pins Are Taking Over the Oscars Red Carpet

With millions of eyeballs tuning in to the Oscars, some attendees are taking the opportunity to make political and humanitarian statements. Several guests have arrived wearing “ICE OUT” and “Artists for Ceasefire” pins. Glennon Doyle has opted for a clutch with a more colorful message for the carpet: “FUCK ICE.” ‘Nuf said, Glennon.

Is It Too Early to Call Best Dressed?

Photo: AFP via Getty Images

Sentimental Value star and Best Actress nominee Renate Reinsve’s Louis Vuitton look is already one of the standout looks of the night. We still have a lot of red carpet ahead of us, but she’s already on our best dressed list.

Hudson Williams Still Has Good Skin

Photo: Getty Images

Our K-beauty king Hudson Williams touched down on the Oscars red carpet tonight looking sharp in Balenciaga and Bulgari. The Heated Rivalry star has clearly kept up with his famous skin care routine, judging by his flawless complexion.

Give Buddy Guy the Oscar for Best Red Carpet Vibes

Photo: Getty Images

The blues musician, who made a brief cameo in Ryan Coogler’s Sinners, is on the Oscars red carpet in what may be our favorite ensemble yet. Just take in the perfectly tailored black leather overalls and snazzy polka-dotted shirt — just goes to show that a black and white look doesn’t have to be boring.

The Glambot Guy Is Back

Photo: Getty Images

After all the Glambot drama, Cole Walliser was noticeably absent at the Grammy Awards with someone else working the Glambot on the red carpet. (A spokesperson for E! said Mr. Walliser, who is a freelancer, was not hired for the event.) Walliser returned a few weeks later for the Screen Actors Guild Actor Awards. Now he’s back again tonight. Prepare to see celebs posing in slow motion.

Who’s Performing at the 2026 Oscars?

Photo: JMEnternational/Getty Images

After the Oscars nixed all Best Original Song performances for time considerations last year, they are begrudgingly allowing performances from two of the five nominees this time. Sinners’s Miles Caton will perform “I Lied to You” with ballet dancer Misty Copeland, Shaboozey, and a handful of the movie’s collaborators and stars. EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and REI AMI of KPop Demon Hunters will sing “Golden.” Rumor has it the nominees are not the only ones performing — earlier this month, Variety reported that Barbra Streisand was in talks to sing a tribute to Robert Redford, her “The Way We Were” co-star, during the “In Memoriam” segment. Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal will reportedly reunite during the segment to pay tribute to the late director Rob Reiner.

Who’s Hosting the Oscars?

It will be Conan O’Brien’s second year in a row hosting the ceremony, and it sounds like he has some big plans. In an interview with ABC News, O’Brien said viewers can expect “a lot of magic.” “There’ll be some explosions; CGI will be used. I see this second Oscars as an opportunity to take things up a notch,” he added. He also has some skin in the game — O’Brien appeared in If I Had Legs I’d Kick You alongside Rose Byrne, who’s nominated for Best Actress for her role in the Mary Bronstein movie.

A Look Back at the Best Oscars Outfits of All Time

Photo: SGranitz/WireImage

The Oscars red carpet is where dresses (and the stars that wear them) ascend into legend status. Audrey Hepburn, Diane Keaton, Madonna, Zendaya, Cher — they’ve all taken part in the longtime tradition of pulling a look so glamorous that it lingers in Oscars memory for years to come. Here are some of our favorite Oscars outfits of all time.

Who Are the 2026 Oscar Nominees?

Photo: Roger Kisby/The Academy/via Getty Images

Sinners is leading the pack with a historic 16 nominations, with One Battle After Another at a close second with 13 nods. Frankenstein, Marty Supreme, Sentimental Value, and Hamnet are also heavily nominated. All those movies are nominated for Best Picture, along with Bugonia, F1, The Secret Agent, and Train Dreams.

The Best Actor race remains tight between Timothée Chalamet (Marty Supreme), Leonardo DiCaprio (One Battle After Another), Ethan Hawke (Blue Moon), Michael B. Jordan (Sinners), and Wagner Moura (The Secret Agent). Meanwhile, the Best Actress nominees are Jessie Buckley (Hamnet), Rose Byrne (If I Had Legs I’d Kick You), Kate Hudson (Song Sung Blue), Renate Reinsve (Sentimental Value), and Emma Stone (Bugonia).

Most of the same films made it into the Best Supporting Actor category, where Benicio del Toro and Sean Penn (both in One Battle After Another) will be up against Delroy Lindo (Sinners), Stellan Skarsgård (Sentimental Value), and Jacob Elordi as the Frankenstein monster. Amy Madigan wiggled her way into the Best Supporting Actress category with her scene-stealing Weapons performance — alongside not one but two Sentimental Value entries (Elle Fanning and Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas), Wunmi Mosaku (Sinners), and Teyana Taylor (One Battle After Another).
