Last month, Cardi B dropped some hints that she and Stefon Diggs had broken up — first with separate appearances at the Super Bowl (and Cardi’s palpably chilly “good luck” message to him), then more overtly when she told the crowd at one of her concerts that she wasn’t “fucking with my baby daddy.”
They haven’t been seen together since, but it seems like at least one person in Diggs’s camp is still rocking with Cardi. On Wednesday, Diggs’s mother, Stephanie Diggs, attended Cardi’s tour stop in Houston and posted a photo of her concert outfit to her Instagram Story ahead of the show. “Heels or sneakers for @iamcardib tonight?” she asked her followers, including a poll to weigh in on. It looks like the ultimate answer was neither — she later posted a photo of the final look, which paired some chunky boots with a plaid skirt and matching beret. Around her neck, she wore a lanyard with an event pass on it. “Ready to party,” she captioned the post, which she set to Cardi’s song “Bartier Cardi.”
It’s unclear how Stefon felt about his mom’s Wednesday night plans, but he probably had more pressing matters to worry about — the same day his mom went to his ex’s concert, ESPN reported that the New England Patriots would release him from their roster as a cost-saving measure. “Thank you for a hell of a year. We family forever,” Stefon wrote in a post on his Instagram Story. I hope he feels the same way about his mom?
